Chang Blog 4-15-2014

Today in class we continued the goal of describing the powers of Congress. With that in mind, we went through the different characteristics and needs of someone who is part of the House or Senate, including length in time of how long each serves as well as age requirements, years of citizenship, and how the different parts of congress work in election. Along with that we took further notes and jotted down a lengthy list of different vocabulary words that we will be further discussing in the upcoming social studies classes. For homework today we have to finish units 10 and 11 in the “Our Federal and State Constitutions” blue book, which is due in a couple of days.
