Yesterday we discussed the Great Chicago Fire. Not about a cow, or how it started. Though that story is very interesting, it’s not what made the Fire worthy of a star on the flag. How Chicago was built, how it was improved, and the morale of it’s citizens defines this city, even today.
But before we begin to build, we must understand the depth of disaster. These are the slides which support our discussion and examination of the fire yesterday. Though it’s not rich in detail, it’s helpful to remind you of my lecture and what we discussed.
