Instant Feedback!

I LOVE technology. Today, while I’m in Springfield for the Conference on Illinois History, I had the kids take a pop quiz. It’s not graded, but I wanted a raw, unprepared sense of what they know. The students took this online, through a google doc. I get to sit in a session 150 miles away, and see, instantly, what the students learned. Sweet!
Additionally, it shows me WHAT the kids know/don’t know. This graphic indicates some level of success, just 4 days into a unit:
